When deciding on a treatment to replace a missing tooth or teeth it’s best to consider the longevity of the material and what will be the closest to functioning and looking like natural teeth. You may save money upfront by choosing a bridge or dentures, but in the long run you’re much better off going with dental implants, as they function like natural teeth and they can last a lifetime. Take a look at the chart below to show the differences between dental treatments.

Dental implants mirror the structure of the original tooth. A titanium screw is placed into the jawbone and takes the place of the root of a tooth. It becomes the foundation on which to build new teeth.
The entire process typically takes 3-6 months.
First – if a bad tooth exists, it is removed.
Second – the Implant is placed and as it heals the implant has fused with the bone and your ready for the next step.
Last – we make a new, permanent crown to fit over the implant. |
All-on-X is a minimally invasive method of placing a full mouth of dental implants using four implants to support a full arch (upper or lower) fixed non-removable replacement teeth. All-on-X allows you to have a full set of teeth without the need for multiple surgeries to place a full set of implants in your mouth. Best of all the procedure can often be completed during one appointment under local anesthesia.

Dental implants have the highest success rate of any implant device in the body. Reported success rates are approximately 95%, however this may vary based on location, bone density and prosthetic design.
