You may save money upfront by choosing a bridge or dentures, but in the long run you’re much better off going with dental implants, as they function like natural teeth and they can last a lifetime. Take a look at the chart below to show the differences between dental treatments.

Dental Implant Process

What are dental Implants?

Dental implants mirror the structure of the original tooth. A titanium screw is placed into the jawbone and takes the place of the root of a tooth. It becomes the foundation on which to build new teeth.

What is the process of placing Dental Implants?

The entire process typically takes 3-6 months.

Blue Arrow First – if a bad tooth exists, it is removed.
Blue Arrow Second – the Implant is placed and as it heals the implant has fused with the bone and your ready for the next step.
Blue Arrow Last – we make a new, permanent crown to fit over the implant.
